By downloading your books, you can listen and read wherever you are, even without an internet connection or when traveling abroad.

Add the book you want to save to your Bookshelf by going to the book's details page and pressing Save. You can also just choose to start the book and it will be saved directly to your bookshelf.

Once the book is in your bookshelf, you can either tap the symbol showing a downward arrow or tap the tool bubble with three dots and select Download. You can also download a book you have open in your player in the app by clicking on the downward arrow icon.

When downloading, we recommend that you wait until the book has finished downloading before closing the app or tapping anywhere else. When a download is completed, you will see that the downward arrow symbol is orange. 

Good to know:

• You can find all downloaded books in one place in your bookshelf if you click on the tab Downloaded.
• Even though the books are downloaded, they can still only be accessed from within the app.
• The app needs to be connected to the internet at least once every 30th day or the downloads will be lost. If you're offline for more than 30 days, the downloads will disappear and will require an internet connection to be downloaded again.
• If you log out of the app, your books will no longer be download and will require an internet connection to be downloaded again.

Issues with downloading

If there seems to be parts of the book missing, please try to download the book again. Make sure that you have at least 2GB of free space in the memory of your device and that the download is completed.

It's not possible to have more than 100 books downloaded at a time. If you have 100 books downloaded, you'll need to remove already downloaded books to continue downloading.

Listening and reading abroad

Our content has territorial rights and if you're traveling abroad, titles may become unavailable to you unless they have been downloaded before traveling.

Since the app needs to be connected to the internet at least once every 30th day in order to not lose the downloads, if you're traveling longer than 30 days, we cannot guarantee that any lost downloads will be possible to download again if you're in a country where the title isn't made available.

If you can see the text "This title is not available from your geographical position” beneath a title in the app, this means that it's not possible to play that title from where you are located unless the book was downloaded beforehand and the download is still available.
