If the card you first registered with us is no longer valid, or you wish for us to charge a different card, you need to update your card details.
To update your card details, please log into our website. Go to My Pages -> My Account and click on Payment. Click again on Update payment and proceed with adding your new card.
I received an email that my subscription couldn't be renewed. What should I do to pay for my subscription?
If you have received an email from us to update your payment details, we've been unable to accept your card payment and your subscription couldn't be renewed.
We will make 4 attempts in total to charge your card and renew your subscription. It can take a few days between the automatic payment attempts.
If you've resolved the issues with your payment, and don't want to wait for an automatic attempt to be made, you can update your card details to trigger a new payment attempt. If your payment is accepted, it will happen almost immediately and you'll be able to continue to enjoy Storytel.
The most common reasons for us not being able to accept your card payment is:
- the card has expired
- insufficient funds
- card is blocked for internet purchases
