A gift card for Storytel gives you, your friends or your family access to our whole library of audiobooks and ebooks.

Information about our gift cards

• Gift cards are purchased from our website. 
• Gift cards are purchased for the subscription plan Unlimited. 
• Gift cards are only compatible with the subscription plan Unlimited (monthly).
•  Gift cards can only be redeemed immediately on an account if there is no subscription or if the subscription is an Unlimited (monthly) subscription which was started via our website.
  • If the subscription on the account was started directly in the app (and administered by Google or Apple) or through one or partners, the gift card can't be redeemed while there is an ongoing subscription.
• You can purchase a gift card for a period of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
• Gift cards are valid for 2 years after the purchase date.

Purchase a gift card

When you've successfully purchased a gift card, you will receive an email to the email address you register (either by logging in or creating an account) when purchasing the gift card. In this email, you can retrieve the gift card code and can see details of your purchase.

You can share the gift card code with the person you wish to give it to. Unless you want to use it yourself, it's important that you don't redeem the gift card on your account. 

To purchase your gift card, please follow the steps below depending on if you have an account with Storytel or not.

I have an account with Storytel

1. Log into your account on our website.
2. Go to this page on our website to purchase a gift card

3. Choose the subscription period you wish to purchase.
4. Enter your payment details.

I don't have an account with Storytel

1. Go to this page on our website to purchase a gift card

2. Choose the subscription period you wish to purchase.
3. You will be asked to create an account before you can proceed with the purchase. If you already have an account, choose the option to Log in to your accountinstead. 
4. Enter your payment details.

Redeem a gift card

The gift card is shared with the person you wish to use it, who then redeemed it on the account they with to use it for. You can follow this link to read more about how to redeem gift cards.
