With Storytel, you can enjoy our ever-growing library of audiobooks and ebooks. Starting your subscription with us is easy, just follow the steps below to get started.
Start a subscription through our website
- Visit our website to see our subscription plans.
- Choose the subscription plan that suits you best and create an account. If you already have an account with Storytel, you can instead choose to Log in to your existing account in order to keep your bookshelf and listening history.
- Choose your payment method and start your subscription.
- Download the Storytel app and log in with the account you created to start listening and reading.
Start a subscription through the app (Google/Apple)
1. Download and open the Storytel application.
2. Click on Create account if you don't have an account with Storytel. If you already have an account, click on Log in instead.
3. Choose any title and try to start listening or reading to it.
4. After you try to read or listen to a book, you will be prompted to start a subscription. Follow the instructions.
Downloading the Storytel app
The Storytel app can be downloaded to your phone and tablet and is compatible with other devices as well. If you're having any issues with downloading the app, your device might not be compatible with the app.
Good to know: All listening or reading is through the Storytel app, not our website. The app isn't possible to download to your computer (not PC or Mac).
Log in to your Storytel account
When you've created an account with us, either through our website or our app, you should always choose to Log in rather than creating a new account.
Which login method you should choose when logging into the app or the website depends on how you first created your account. You need to choose the correct login method to be able to log in.
