Good to know: When you start a subscription through our website, you may get access to more subscription plans. 

Start a subscription through our website 

1. Visit our website.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see all available subscription plans. Choose the subscription that suits you best.
3. Create your account.
4. Choose your payment method and start your subscription.
5. Download and sign in to the Storytel app to start listening and reading.

Start a subscription through the app (in-app payment) 

1. Download and open the Storytel application.
2. Click Explore the app. 
3. Choose any title and try to start listening or reading to it.
4. After you try to read or listen to a book, you will be prompted to start a subscription. Follow the instructions.

Downloading the Storytel app

All listening or reading is through the Storytel app, not our website. If you're having any issues with downloading the app, your device might not be compatible with our service. Please go to this article to read more. 

I already have a Storytel account. How do I proceed to start a subscription?

If you've already registered your email and created an account with Storytel, we recommend you log in to your existing account rather than creating a new one. 

If you've had a subscription previously, you will get to keep your bookshelf and listening history from when you last used Storytel if you log in to the same Storytel account you used previously. 

Tip: If you've forgotten which password you used, you can reset your password.
