Going on a trip? Take Storytel with you! You can listen and read even when you're abroad, but keep in mind that not all content may be available in all countries.

To ensure you have access to the books you are interested in, we recommend downloading them to your device. If you are unsure how to do this, you can follow the instructions in this article.

Keep in mind that:

• Make sure the books are 100% downloaded before traveling to avoid the app using the internet while listening.
• Turn off roaming for data traffic and automatic updates. This avoids the app connecting by mistake, which can cost you money depending on your location.

How to turn off roaming for iOS:

Settings → Cellular → Cellular data options → Data roaming (drag the slider to the left)

To turn off roaming for Android:

Settings → Mobile Network Settings (it may vary between models).

 

Permanent resident abroad

Your subscription is customized according to the country where you first registered and started your subscription. Due to international copyright laws, the range of books and languages varies between countries.
