If you have an iOS device, you can sign up with Apple when creating your account in the Storytel app. If you choose to sign up with Apple, your login details will be retrieved from your Apple ID and you won't need to enter an email address or password manually.
Please note: Signing up with Apple and starting an in-app subscription through Apple (payment and subscription is administered by Apple), are not related.
I can see the option to log in with Apple, but it's not possible
To log in with Apple, you need to have signed up with Apple when creating your account. It's not possible to add the option to sign in with Apple after your Storytel account has already been created.
I signed up with Apple when I created my account and I chose "Hide my email". How can I see which email address I use with Storytel?
When you choose "Hide my email", Apple will generate an email address for you (example: randomcharacters>@privaterelay.appleid.com). Apple links this generated email address to the email address used for your Apple ID.
Even if you're not sure what the generated email address you received is, you can still log in to your account with your Apple ID.
If you want to see the email address that was generated for you, you can (in your device) go to:
Settings -> Apple ID -> Password and Security -> Sign in with Apple -> Storytel
