To see your profile in the app, click on Profile in the bottom menu.

To see additional settings in your profile, click again on Settings ⚙️. 

Account Settings

After clicking on Settings ⚙️ in your profile, click again on Account. Here, you'll see information regarding your account or subscription and also have the possibility to change your password. If you need to make other changes to your account or your subscription, please log in to our website and go to My Pages -> My Account. 

App Settings

Here you can choose different preferences, such as which of the available languages for your subscription you would like to view in the app, or to filter to see only ebooks or audiobooks. 

You'll also see the option to toggle ON/OFF different features. Which features are optional may vary, except the option to join our Storytel Enthusiast Program. To learn more about our Storytel Enthusiast Program, please go to this article.

Your name

The name you choose to add in your profile is the name that will be visible to other users in the Storytel app. If you leave a review for any of our titles, the name in your profile will be added to it.

Your profile picture

When adding your profile picture, you'll get the options to choose an image from the library in your phone, or take a new photo. 

If your profile picture doesn't follow Storytel's guidelines, we might remove it after reviewing it. You can see our community guidelines below.

Community Guidelines 

Storytel reserves the right to review and remove any images that violate our policy or are otherwise deemed inappropriate by Storytel. Images should not:

• Contain nudity or sexual, violent, explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content

• Be discriminatory towards religious or political beliefs, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender or gender identity, age or disability

• Impersonate another person

• Unlawfully use any immaterial rights
