How you should proceed to cancel your subscription with us depends on how you started the subscription.
If you need with help canceling your subscription, please contact our support.
Subscription was started from the website
If you started your subscription through our website you can also cancel your subscription through our website.
- Log into your account page.
- Click on Subscription.
- Click on Cancel under your current subscription plan.
- Confirm the cancellation.
When you've cancelled your subscription you will see confirmation of this on the website. You'll also receive an email which confirms the cancellation to the email address your Storytel account is registered with. We recommend that you save this confirmation.
Good to know: If you signed up for your subscription through our website and took advantage of a free trial, your subscription will end immediately when you cancel it, regardless of when the trial period is scheduled to end.
Subscription was started from the app (Google)
1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play app.
2. At the top right, click on the profile icon.
3. Go to Payments & subscriptions -> Subscriptions.
4. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
5. Choose Cancel subscription.
6. Follow the instructions.
Keep in mind: Your subscription does not end automatically if you delete the app or do not use the service.
Start your subscription again
Should you wish to continue with Storytel, you can log in to your Storytel account and start your subscription again. Your bookshelf and your reading and listening history will be saved on your account.
